Generations from Exile Tribe (Japanese: ジェネレーションズ・フロム・エグザイル・トライブ, stylized every bit GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE and formerly known as Generations) is a 7-member Japanese dance and vocal group formed and managed by LDH. History [edit]

2011–2012: Formation and pre-debut [edit]

In April 2011, Hiro of Exile began forming Generations. The candidate members started their activities in the summer of 2011, with a major debut as their goal.[3] In April 2012, Alan Shirahama, Ryota Katayose, Ryuto Kazuhara, Hayato Komori, Reo Sano, and Mandy Sekiguchi were announced to the public as official members.

On 11 September 2012, it was appear that Yuta Nakatsuka, who had been a back up member for the group, would be added equally an official fellow member. Generations then made their major debut on 21 November, with the unmarried "Brave It Out", which was used as theme song for the NTV drama Sugarless starring Alan Shirahama and Reo Sano.[4]

2013–2014: Debut album: Generations [edit]

In January 2013, the group changed their name from "Generations" to "GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE" and released their second unmarried titled "Animal" on xxx of the same month.

On 15 May 2013, Generations released their 3rd unmarried titled "Love You More than" as their offset ballad single, it was their first single to include an English version of their previous single as a bonus track, and the first to be released in the One Coin CD and Music Card formats. The first single of their 3-month project, released on 17 July, is titled "Brand New Story", which was used as the theme song of the anime pic Ride Your Wave in which Ryota voiced as the chief character.
